Industrial degreaser refers to water- or solvent-based cleaning chemicals that are formulated to remove various water-insoluble substances, including lubricants, corrosion dust, and heavy oils from hard surfaces and metals. It is commercially manufactured by combining several ingredients, such as saponifies, emulsifiers, alkalizes, inhibitors, chelating, and sequestering agents, in varying degrees. It can be further composed through the do-it-yourself (DIY) technique, wherein diverse natural ingredients, including baking soda, lemon, vinegar, liquid soap, and essential oils, are blended to develop the product. Industrial degreaser helps remove contaminants and unwanted materials from different machine parts, protect them against damage to ensure their quality, and provide a unique cleaning experience. Apart from this, industrial degreasers are anti-corrosive, inexpensive, have high dielectric strength, and comprise better rusting properties. As a result, they are used on concrete and metal surfaces, non-aluminum equipment, motors, appliances, and floors for cleaning purposes.
Industrial Degreaser Market Trends:
Rapid industrialization and the increasing need for effective solvent-based liquid cleaning agents have facilitated the widespread adoption of industrial degreasers across various sectors, which, in turn, is primarily driving the market growth. They offer a safe working environment and reduce labor costs by removing dirt, grease, and oil from industrial or farm equipment, metals, and lawn mowers. Additionally, the enforcement of the current good manufacturing practice (CGMP) acts by governments to ensure optimal workplace sanitation in diverse manufacturing industries is further supplementing the product demand across the globe. Moreover, the escalating consumer awareness regarding the detrimental effects of chemical cleaners has prompted manufacturers to compose eco-friendly, bio-based degreasers with zero to low volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which is propelling the market growth. Furthermore, the extensive utilization of industrial degreasers in the automotive sector to remove unwanted grim substances from various vehicle parts is favoring the market growth. Apart from this, significant product innovations by key players and their easy availability in diverse forms are positively augmenting the market growth.
